End of season 2016-17 summary
The three important finals were all played off on one night in Burton-on Trent. The 29 player South Staffs Club ladder, played off across August 2016 to May 2017 ended with Mike Bradbury runaway leader on 117 points,with Burton's Tony Machin 2nd with 33 points, Wolverhampton's Justin Scott 3rs with 31 points and Walsall's Peter Sleeth 4th on 23 points. Those four players contested the semi finals of both the county championships and the Stafforshire Cup as follows-
